Virtual Vesak Kalapaya is a digital exhibition created to celebrate the sacred Vesak festival through modern technology. Visitors can explore beautiful Vesak decorations, illuminated Thoranas, traditional lantern displays, and important events from the life of Lord Buddha from anywhere in the world.
To preserve and promote Buddhist culture and Sri Lankan Vesak traditions through innovative digital experiences that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and from every part of the world.
ThaRinDu_G is the lead developer and designer of this Virtual Vesak Kalapaya project, responsible for the website design, user experience, interactive features, and overall development. Special appreciation goes to Hydra for providing the original concept and creative vision that inspired the project. Additional creative concepts and ideas were also contributed by ROCKY BEAST, helping enhance the immersive experience and artistic direction of the Virtual Vesak Kalapaya. Together, these contributions helped transform the idea into an immersive digital Vesak experience that celebrates Sri Lankan culture and Buddhist heritage.
